VeganMoFo2012 Day 31: Kitteh-extravaganza!

Happy end of VeganMoFo, everyone! This month has flown by (as it always does) and it was FUN! I have saved the best until last, today I will be sharing a bunch of photos of my 3 cats and vegan food!

I've done similar posts in previous VeganMoFos (here and here) and you guys probably know Maya and Myena well but this year we got a new kitten, Molly, introduced on the blog here and featured in a vlog here.

Sometimes they're all circling and I managed to get all of them in this photo (Maya is just up in the top left corner)

Maya and Myena are both about six years old now and they have mellowed out a lot. They used to be keen to investigate any food I photographed but these days they sit back and let me photograph.

On the other hand, Molly thinks food photography = meal time! She is always up in everything and doesn't understand why all the foods are not for her!

And sometimes she just decides to take a swipe and hope she gets something, like a beet burger

Or she walks in front of the camera

And she's now taken to sitting in my food photography set up, I guess she thinks if she waits here while I cook, she has a good chance of trying to get some food when it's ready to be photographed!

Molly has grown so much, she's about eight months old now and both Myena and Maya put up with her - most of the time. She does tend to pick on Maya, who was the first one to accept her, poor Maya! And they all sleep on the couch together or fight for the spot on my lap. Sometimes I end up with two on my lap and one in my arms, mega-kitteh-cuddles! She's a real sweety and enjoys cuddles and smushing her face onto mine as well as sitting on my stomach while I do crunches or on my back when I do push ups - very helpful!

Thank you to everyone who dropped by and commented on posts, I've enjoyed reading every single one and it's been great to catch up with old blogging friends as well as discovering new bloggers :) I'm looking forward to a short break for the rest of the week but I am going to try and get back into the swing of food blogging and not let the VeganMoFo burn out get me again!

Andrea said...: It's funny (or not depending on the situation!) how some kitties are fascinated with food and others don't pay any attention to it. At my son's house, not food can be left unguarded because the cats will eat it! They sometimes keep food hidden in the microwave so the cats can't find it. Our cats were very particular about food.
